AccuRAP Defense and Recovery Audit Program

Laguna Medical Systems’, Inc. (LMS) Defense and Recovery Audit Program (AccuRAP) is designed to assist hospitals in coping with the CMS Recovery Audit Program.

LMS' AccuRAP program consists of two components:

• Defense audit - LMS will respond to Recovery Audit Contractors who are attempting to recover overpayments from the hospital; and
• Proactive monitoring component - LMS will help the hospital ensure that the reimbursement they receive is consistent with that to which they are entitled.
