Example 1:
Uterine prolapse secondary to obstetrical trauma sustained years earlier during 3 vaginal deliveries.
 
Example 2:
Delayed hemorrhage due to retained placental fragments three weeks post normal spontaneous vaginal delivery.
 
Example 3:
Tubal pregnancy with rupture complicated by staphylococcus salpingitis.
 
Example 4:
Excessive hemorrhage one week following treatment of ruptured cornual pregnancy.
 
Example 5:
Delivery of liveborn male with immediate postpartum proteinuria, edema, and seizures with blood pressures peaking at 228/124.
 
Example 6:
Type I diabetic woman, 6 months pregnant admitted for regulation of persistently elevated blood glucose.
 
Example 7:
Vaginal delivery of twins following previous Cesarean section, 2nd degree perineal laceration.
 
Example 8:
Precipitous delivery in family vehicle prior to admission, postpartum fever, no source of sepsis identified.
 
Example 9:
False labor, undelivered.
 
Example 10:
Hyperemesis gravidarum, 14 weeks’ gestation, with dehydration, undelivered.
